Hello, My Name Is Melissa...

And I have a problem.

Yes, a big one. I have become downright obsessed with blogging, checking my blog, checking my friends/family's blogs, updating my blog, and everything associated with this blog... This is the fourth time I've been on here today. Where do you find the time, you ask? I really can't tell you. Naptime is no longer my naptime; bedtime is no longer my bedtime... afterall, it's after midnight and I'm posting this right now. I've even been known to turn on a TV show for my 2-year-old just to give me enough time to play...

Please help me!

Hmmmmm-is there a "Bloggers Anonymous? out there? It's like everything else in life - it must be in MODERATION! I only asked for updates and pictures of the fam and kids, you need to learn the self control part! I love you,
Mom

I think there might be a bloggers anonymous...you post to a blog about too much blogging and then others comment on the blog about their blog addictions, and then you blog again when you find yourself unable to resist the temptation of blogging so that you don't blog on accident.
NAPTIME AND AFTER BED ONLY!!!!!!! (Or when the kids are busy painting and you wanted to see if you won the camera...which you didn't)

i like all your blogs. it keeps me entertained at work when i have nothing to do (which is A LOT of the time) plus, i happen to think that youre a GREAT mom. I have never seen such a well behaved little boy as jayce... and you need to have time just for yourself to keep your sanity, so if blogging is your escape, i say GO FOR IT. :) Thats just my opinion... :)

By saying this, I might be a bit of an "enabler", but your OCP (obsessive compulsive posting) gives me something to do. I'm on my own blog about 5 times per day. I know that you are on top of things, so I always have something new to read. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that lets my kid sit in poop, or adjusts nap times so I can "blog/facebook". So for all of us SAHM's...keep it up.

I have developed the same problem recently Melissa! I find myself telling the kids "just a minute" a lot more than I used to. But, I have devised a plan...I know keep the laptop in the kitchen so I can multi-task. I blog/surf/blogstalk while I make dinner or feed the kids lunch or clean up from breakfast. And naptimes are completely unproductive now thanks to blogs! But, I limit it once the kids are in bed if Nate is home. I don't need him making fun of me for it! Keep up the good work on your blog - I love reading stories about Jayce & Grayson!
